The Night Lu Fell from the Sky | 2022 – Possible revival
Puppet theater for children aged 8 and up
The moon has fallen to Earth—right into Marta's room. The moon is a girl named Lu. With Lu, even Marta dares to venture into the dark forest at night. There they meet Wolfgang, the silly wolf; Ramsey, the clean freak fox; Dr. Kivumbi, the sand woman who sometimes turns into Wasiwasi, the nightmare woman; and Wendel, the evil ghost. Wendel knows a secret: if the moon child Lu is not back in the sky by dawn, Mother Earth will die of grief. "The end of the world! The end of the world!"
Sun, Moon, and the End of the World
Mia Grau stages the fairy-tale adventure story "The Night Lu Fell from the Sky" for children at Theater Freiburg. The play relates to everyday life, enchants, and encourages reflection. (...) A brilliant production (...) What the very different friends experience that night is an enchanting, funny, exciting, but also scary dream, staged with expressive characters, quick role changes, great songs, and lots of music."
